Noise Gate Teaser Puts the Funk back in Afro Futurism

Unknown-8

Behold, the teaser for Noise Gate, a short film by writer, director, illustrator and renaissance man, Donovan Vim Crony. It’s just 24 seconds, but in that time you remember why Sun Ra and Parliament Funkadelic were so damned dope.
It’s about a scientist searching for the ultimate reality. (Just like everyone that I know.) To do so, he must pass through the Noise Gate.
There’s a scientist who looks like a voodoo rockstar, and a magician who rocks the hell out of a burlap sack. There is also a hologram that’s the same green color as the computer screens that I used in Penncrest High School, a long time ago.

There are a lot of incredible projects swirling around in the ether. Every once in a while, one of them crosses my path. Here’s the rundown.

Check them out, and then follow the blog so that you don’t miss out on anything going in my Afro Futurist world.

Roxe15,  Dust, Danger Word,

I’ve added some other dope trailers, just so you know what’s what.

The 47 Ronin, Elysium
